TRADEMARK USAGE POLICY
When using the Sweet Dave
Trademark, use the registered trademark symbol ® or the ™ symbol,
as indicated in
the above example, on the most prominent (or if none is prominent, the first) appearance
of Sweet Dave. For any Sweet Dave and The Ultimate Vanity Project Trademark
that is
not registered, the ™ symbol should be used in place of the registered
trademark symbol ®.
Once marked, it is not normally necessary to mark
subsequent appearances of the trademark in the piece.
Every appearance of Sweet Dave
Logos in stylized form should always appear with the appropriate ® or ™ symbol, and
may be used only under license with The Ultimate Vanity Project –
unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.
When using a Sweet Dave Trademark, never vary the spelling, add or delete hyphens, make one word two, or use a possessive or plural form of the Trademark. Sweet Dave word marks must always be used as adjectives followed by a generic term, and never as nouns or verbs.
The Ultimate Vanity Project
may from time to time modify the Sweet Dave Trademark. Sweet Dave
will use commercially reasonable efforts to give licensees advance notice of such
modifications.
In order to assure compliance and quality of control, you will, upon
request from The Ultimate Vanity Project, provide samples of any marketing and
advertising materials that
include the Sweet Dave Trademarks. In any place where
they appear together, the Sweet Dave
and The Ultimate Vanity Project Trademarks
and
any associated text must be at least as large
as the trademark and text
of another vendor.
David Thomas Herman is the owner of
all rights, titles, and interests in the Sweet Dave and The Ultimate Vanity
Project Trademarks
and Licensee agrees that it will not challenge the validity of David Thomas Herman's ownership of
the Sweet Dave and The Ultimate Vanity Project Trademarks.
Licensees shall not reproduce or use (or
authorize the reproduction or use of) Sweet Dave
and The Ultimate Vanity Project Trademarks in any manner
other than expressly authorized by
David
Thomas Herman.
The Ultimate Vanity Project
is very respectful about the privacy concerns of the visitors to its sites on the
Internet. As a general policy, no personal information is automatically collected from
visitors to its sites, nor is so-called "cookie" technology used by the sites
created by The Ultimate Vanity Project. However, certain non-personal information
of visitors is recorded by the standard operation of The Ultimate Vanity Project's
